Many people are struggling to drive more traffic to their social media profiles and most likely every effort they make turns them down.
You think you are unsuccessful? No maybe you are just not doing it the right way.
I rarely meet a twitter user who does not want more followers (traffic). Personally, I dug deep on Google and other searching platforms but it really took a lot of my time and resources to reach where I am today.
Gaining traffic is not easy at all, it need great efforts and passion. I experienced this when i started my first blog joseymras.blogspot.com and the second one too sophlix.com.
Good news to twitter users looking for followers. It all seems so easy to gain followers in the current world we living in than gaining a whole blogs traffic.
I am @joseymras and am going to reveal to you “how I gained 100+ followers on my twitter account in just a month.”
Why would want more twitter followers?
More followers provide social authority.
Like any other ranking system, the higher your follower count (traffic) the more people believe you are someone interesting and/or an expert.
More followers extend your influence. The larger your follower count, the faster and wider your ideas spread.
More followers lead to more sales. If you are on twitter to sell your staff; more followers provide the opportunity to generate more leads and more conversions.
Show you face. Make sure you have uploaded a photo to twitter profile I wouldn’t follow anyone without a photo because i could think of them as either a spammer or a newbie.
Create an interesting bio. Don’t leave this blank because its one of the first things potential followers reviews. Explain who you are and what you do in a few words. Don’t 4get to include a city name. By the way, twitter will not include you in search results unless you fill out your username, full name and bio.
Use a custom about page. You can only include 160 characters in your bio. That’s probably a small space to introduce people to all that you offer. Consider creating an about page on your blog then linking it on your twitter profile. You can also use the simplest way if you don’t have a blog by creating your about page at about.me
Make your twitter presence visible. Make it easy for people to follow you. Display links to your twitter accounts in your email signature, your blog or website, business cards and everywhere.
Share valuable content. This is probably my most important advice to note. Create content that other people look forward to getting and want to pass on their own follower. Direct people to helpful resources. Be generous, Inspiring and lots of links. This is the main reason to getting rewetted and get mentioned in other people’s tweets.
Post frequently, but don’t flood your followers.
Keep your posts short enough to retweet. Retweets are the only way to make you noticed by people who don’t follow you. Therefore, you must make it easy for your followers to retweet your posts keep your tweets short enough for people to add the RT symbol and your username
Replay to others publicly. This makes you look sociable unlike replaying via DM
Practice strategic following. Follow people in your industry, people who use certain keywords in their bio or even people who follow the people you follow.
Be generous in linking and retweeting others. Twitter fosters a culture of sharing. The more you link to others, the more people will reciprocate. That’s what must happen for you to grow your follower count; you need others to introduce you to their followers. Post content worth retweeting; don’t ask for retweets.
The Use of hashtags. This helps your posts to appear in search results of the keywords for example #GraphicDesign, #SocialMediaMarketing etc
Q: what are the best ways you have found to get more twitter followers? You can list them in the comment box and keep the conversation going.
