There may be many reasons why your Facebook ads are not performing well but here are the three main reasons why the ads are a loss:

1. ? Your product doesn’t really have the “sizzle effect.” It’s not making people react impulsively with fast action. You need to be selling what is HOT RIGHT NOW …. not what you personally think is cool or interesting.

2. ? Your targeting just isn’t hitting the sweet spot. You may need to go in to ESA and take a look at the over the shoulder training I did on “SCORCH THE EARTH.” Using Qwaya’s advanced split testing methods. You need also can deep dive in your ads reporting by “profit zones” and peep out age / gender / location / device to see if you have specific profit zones excelling and others eating away your profits.

3. ?Your Ad sucks. Yes, that is blunt. But, hey … it is what is is. If your ad sucks it’s more likely your image is not good than your ad copy (no one really reads ad copy on fb). You may want to experiment with testing different images of your product. Make sure the product is BIG and CLEAR … and the image shows an example of the BENEFIT if there is one (rather than features).

It’s not guaranteed to be one of the above. But, typically it’s one of the three.

⚠️ The only other reason could be that your Shopify store or Website does not look legit. Meaning, it doesn’t look like a trustworthy site and is poorly put together. You want to focus on having a nice logo. Congruent design/colors across your site. And you want to appear as if you are some big company, even though you aren’t.
