I don’t want you stressing out and wondering where to look for a side hustle online. It’s overwhelming and confusing. But one thing I want you to know is that my list is not a “get rich quick” scheme. Most of the side gigs I mention here will require a lot of work and dedication.
But if you really want to make some extra money, this post is for you.
GET PAID TO SHARE YOUR OPINION.
Some companies will simply pay you to share your opinions about certain products. And you get to keep the products. Or they ask you to share your opinion about products you have used before. Some of the best-paying sites are:
GET CASHBACK WHEN SHOPPING.
Cashback is a promotion where you receive a percentage of your money back after a making an online purchase. All you need to do is buy through their website. They will redirect you to the specific merchant. With cash back, you both earn and save money. There are a number of cashback sites out there, but these are the ones I use and recommend.
These are some of the best-paying sites. They are FREE to use and free to sign up for, so why not shop online, save, and get some money back? FYI, if you refer your friends, you get paid for that too.
CREATE AN ONLINE COURSE.
If you have expertise in a certain area, why not get paid to teach others how to be successful in that area too. Just to give you an idea, you could teach something like baking. If you plan to create a course, the best places to sell them would be Udemy or Teachable.
Create and publish a Kindle eBook.
If you are an expert on a certain topic or if you can do a thorough research on a topic of interest then you can create a valuable solution to common problems. After this, you can submit the finished work to it to the Amazon Kindle store start selling and forever earn passive income from it.
It works like this: For instance, if you list your eBook at $1.50 to $7.00, you’ll be earning 70% on each sale. Bear in mind that Amazon is a selling machine. Everyone buys from Amazon, and it’s a trusted company. Best of all the Kindle App is compatible with the most handset.

Start Affiliate marketing
Affiliate marketing is when you refer someone to buy any online product (through your link), then once that they buy the product, you receive a commission.
The commission varies with different companies: anywhere from 1% to 5K and above. (I get paid $40 per lead by this company)
To get started with affiliate marketing you either need a good social media presence or have a blog or website with a good readership. It doesn’t have to be in thousands or even millions for you to make money. You just need an active audience that will take action to most of the things you will recommend. You can start making money immediately by promoting companies, products, services and offers that you like.

There are a variety of companies that will pay you for downloading apps on your smartphone or computer. And you’ll get paid every month you keep them installed. These apps collect data and help companies research and better understand the web and mobile usage such as what times of the day people browse, how long they stay on websites and use apps, and what types of sites and apps are popular. I usually find this a quick way to make few bucks for nothing. At the same time, I feel good as I’m helping with the research. I have only installed three of them. Some are earning twice that. If you’re interested in writing and want to learn more, I recommend you read this post. It includes details on how to become a freelance writer.

Maybe the first thing you think when you hear the word proofreading is “master’s degree in English.” But you’d be wrong! The first time I heard about proofreading as a side hustle was from my friend Caitlin over at ProofreadAnywhere.com. She is a former proofreader who now is helping people become proofreaders as a side hustle. So, when she tells me that you don’t need an English degree (or ANY degree, for that matter) to succeed in the business of proofreading, I believe her. I know you are wondering now, how much can one make as a proofreader? Well, as a blogger I happen to have a couple friends who are in that industry, and it turns out — quite a lot! There are some proofreaders earning over $40,000 working for themselves and loving their jobs. So, what I can say is this is a side hustle in high demand worldwide, and the best part is that you don’t need to be in any specific location to do the job. You can do it all on your computer or tablet! I know you want to know more. That’s why I asked Caitlin to put together a free online workshop that answers all of the most common questions about becoming a proofreader, and she even shows you how to use the most popular tools used by proofreaders around the world. Sign up here for the free video. You never know. This is only available for a limited time so I would sign up today.

Make money by answering quick surveys.
Taking surveys is one of the quickest and most fun side hustles one can have. The flexibility to do them anywhere and anytime is simply awesome. I mostly do them when I’m in line somewhere, while I’m watching TV, and sometimes on weekends. Of Late, companies are more than willing to pay people to share their opinions via surveys. The amount of money you can make varies from company to company, depending on which survey websites you’re registered with. You might make only $5 for one survey, while others pay up to $35 per survey. And you can sometimes make $100 for watching a short TV clip or show and giving a few statements about what you think.
My recommendation is to sign up for many survey sites. And that’s mainly because each site is probably only going to be able to match you up with one or two surveys a month. Also, some surveys have age and location restrictions. There are tons of different survey sites out there. Here are the top 7 survey sites that offer the best deals! 7 top-paying survey sites I recommend:
- Swagbucks -please sign up using a desktop
- InboxDollars US orInboxPounds UK
- Harris Poll Online
- Pinecone Research
As you can see, taking surveys is an awesome side hustle. I must admit, it can be addictive. So, if you enjoy this evaluative work, it’s worth pursuing, but don’t expect a massive paycheck. Important Note: Within a few minutes after signing up, check your email. If you haven’t received a confirmation email, check your spam/junk folder as your email provider may filter your email.
